I get asked questions about medications period and again. What should I place on bookshelves besides novels? What goes together with this coffee table? How should I groom my sideboard? Adding accessories into a room occurs toward the end of a job. It is among my stages of a project. This is where I really get to tell a story concerning the homeowner.
Over the years I have developed a list of go-to accessories. These things are staples in the design world; some clients even ask for them based upon layouts they’ve seen or pieces they’ve coveted in favorite shops. These staples never disappoint. They look good mixed in one of our most private temples, while adding warmth and attention. Love the list and think about these items next time that you want to freshen up that corner table or bookshelf.

15. A blanket. This is among my favorite things to get around a home. Really, why not have one in every room? Nothing says “home” such as soft, warm blankets. Drape them over sofas, chairs and ottomans.
