Warranty

Our warranty applies to plants purchased from and installed by Dickinson’s Garden Center. A preliminary site evaluation by one of our trained staff is required for the warranty to be effective. The site evaluation will ensure us that the appropriate plant is installed in the appropriate location.
Dickinson Garden Center guarantees that all of our trees and shrubs, when sold and installed by our staff, will be healthy and free from any damaging insects and/or disease. We strive to please and meet your needs in the best possible way. Our goal is to provide plant material and service of the highest quality to our customers. Your satisfaction is important to us.
A six-month limited one-time replacement warranty is offered on trees and shrubs that have been installed by Dickinson’s Garden Center. There will be no replacement on damaged material caused by failure of the client to exercise normal care and maintenance. There will be no replacement on damages caused by conditions of nature beyond our control. Some examples of such environmental conditions include, but are not limited to: cold damage, deer damage, drought, evidence of abuse, vole damage, or insect disease damage. Deciduous plants are guaranteed to leaf out in the spring. The warranty may also be void due to over watering of plant material. More plants die from over watering than under watering. Our highly trained staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your newly installed plants. Extra effort will be made to match the appropriate plant with the appropriate location on your property.
Due to the unpredictability of nature, our business loses control of appropriate care and upkeep after the job has been completed. Proper care and attention becomes the responsibility of the homeowner.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: All perennials, annuals, groundcovers, ball & burlap (b & b) and transplanted plants; all Gardenias except ‘Kleim’s Hardy’ or ‘Chuck Hayes’; all Lilacs except ‘Miss Kim’; Rhododendron ‘PJM’, ‘Aglo’, ‘Olga’; Daphne odora; Clematis armandii; Spruce, Mugo pines, Confederate jasmine, and Bay Laurel ‘Laurus nobilis’; plants sold on clearance.
